DAY SIX OF THE 12 DAYS OF GINGERBREAD!
(SEE HERE FOR THE GINGERBREAD SPICE MIX POST!)
I like my neighbors.
We’ve never really lived anywhere prior to the Cupcake Dream House that had neighbors who watched out for each other.
But here, we know the whole street except one guy who apparently owns a lot of vans and we have never actually seen.
Last year, I frantically made marshmallows on Christmas Eve for all our neighbors, because we now live in a place where we do neighbor gifts.
This year, I am more prepared.
This Gingerbread Waffle Mix is inexpensive and when you wrap it all up, it’s super cute as well!
A mix to gift your friends, neighbors, coworkers or mailman!
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3 tsp gingerbread spice mix (Recipe here: https://miacupcake.com/gingerbread-spice-mix/)
-
Combine all ingredients into a pint-sized canning jar. Put the lid on, and shake.
-
Print out the directions, wrap nicely and give to your neighbor/friend/mailman!
You need some tags to add to your gifts, you say? OF COURSE YOU DO!
I’ve got you covered there too. This printable includes the instructions and a “from line” where you can write your family name so you’re not “waffle-bombing” your neighbors.
Just want to make some waffles? I’ve got you covered there too.
Delicious festive waffles to enjoy on your holiday mornings!
- 1 pint Gingerbread Waffle Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1-1/2 cup milk
- 3 tsp melted butter
-
Dump the Gingerbread Waffle Mix into a mixing bowl.
-
Mix in the milk, then the eggs (one at a time) and the melted butter, mixing each ingredient well until mix is not lumpy.
-
Pour into waffle maker and cook according to your waffle maker's directions.
